Whole solution syncing...iPhone/Widget/Gadget
Accessing ones own todo list at any time, on demand is the only way a virtual todo list can replace paper.
1. Home computer via a dedicated always on, always accessible widget (Mac) or Gadget (Vista) and syncing online to keep data up to date
2. A widget/app for iPhone as the portable console of choice will be in most cases.
So weather on the move or at home, a widget/gadget which is always on will make accessing the todo list easy and free from bbooting a broser and g in every five minutes.

I think ical allows pretty much all data you need for a todolist. Ical export would allow this afaiks.

I dont use iCal, besides simpleGTD is a web based todo list and thus should be accessible from anywhere, like a widget. I might ant to access it from a windows machine, what then if I used iCal?

Whats the problem is always being logged in a browser window, I do it all the time.

Leopard will allow for users to select a section of a webpage and make it a widget, but will that be good enough? Maybe this could be the easy way but I would prefer something dedicated.

LAGO, berkes is talking about the file format iCal(endar). The Mac program supports the file format, but the similarity of name is a coincidence. An iCal feed could be used from iPhone, as well as Google Calendar &c.
