#1- Agree- there should be an option for people to have public profiles, to publicize their art, music, etc. This option should by default be turned "off", of course, and unavailable to those under 18.
#2- Disagree- as long as facebook improves its integration with other services, the duplication serves a purpose. There is still a 'status' for those who aren't on twitter, for example, but twitter is integrated into 'status' pretty well. The blogging integration NEEDS WORK.
#3- strongly disagree. I'm all about low barriers to entry.
#4- Agree- for the same reason a person should have a public profile, they should have a truly reliable link to that profile.
#5- Agree- Facebook, you should use the open source personal data like OpenID.
#7- Meh. The applications can interact with each other, can't they? I thought they didn't because the creators weren't really spreading their wings yet.
