Use Groups in AddressBook to send all at once

I take a photo with my iPhone and want to send it to the same 10 or 30 people at different points in my road trip. I do not want to search for all of them each time! Why can't I click on Groups, choose the group I want, and it addresses all in one email - like on my Mac? Thanks!
