Double click/Single click/Edit

I find double clicking in the Next Actions list to edit an action, single clicking in the Projects list to edit a project action and the Edit link in other lists a bit confusing. Wouldn't it be better to stick to a single method?

I often find myself double clicking a project action, resulting in entering into edit mode with the first click, and erroneously selecting the project gadget with the second :-/ when I just want to edit the project action.
